"la Caixa"/IRB Barcelona International PhD programme Fellowships 2008

PhD activities at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (IRB Barcelona) aim to provide life sciences and bioorganic chemistry students from across the world with the opportunity to do training and research toward their degree in a unique international and multidisciplinary scientific environment. IRB Barcelona is committed to high quality training for its students, offering close mentoring and access to a wide variety of scientific activities, services and networks. Our goal is to give our students everything they need for a solid start to a successful career in biomedical science.

A total of 15 doctoral fellowships are offered for the academic year 2008-2009, 10 of which will be under the auspices of “la Caixa”, the third largest Spanish financial institution. The first ten short-listed candidates will be awarded “la Caixa” fellowships.
